I was born in Stuarts Draft, Virginia, in the Shenandoah Valley, to a beautiful Christian couple. I have a younger brother who lives away with his beautiful family. My grandmother has been dancing with Jesus for three years now, and my grandfather still lives in their home after 69 years of marriage. My parents are saintly people, living biblically.
I grew up in the Stuarts Draft Mennonite Church. My mom sang in the women’s group, my Dad served on the council and we rarely missed any call to assemble so I knew about God from an early age. I got baptized and saved when I was 11. But as life went on, I oscillated away from the church. It became more of a religion thing than a relationship with God, and I found that religion was holding me back. I made excuses, and the devil filled in the gaps, leading me away from God.
In 2005, I had a serious fall while working, hanging commercial kitchen hoods. I fell 16 feet onto concrete, shattering my pelvis, lacerating my liver, and breaking my wrist. It was a long road to recovery, and after God brought me to full recovery my years were full of failing, running, enjoying my desires. The years that followed were found with redemption, discovery, reevaluation, and prayer. I realized God kept me here for a reason.
By the summer of 2016, I met my new wife. We were building our future together, but then my back problems worsened due to previous injuries. The chiropractor recommended an MRI, and I found out I had no cushion between myS1 and L4 and L5 vertebrae. Surgery was not a viable option, so I lived with the pain and relied on pain pills, which I thankfully managed to quit by the grace of God.
In 2017, God blessed us with a son. On July 19th, as I was praying, I felt a presence and heard God ask if I was ready to work for Him. This led me to start a prayer ministry on TikTok, despite my initial reluctance due to scriptural concerns about praying in public. While i knew this was not as the Pharisees and doing it for my own clout but serving in the way i heard God tell me to serve i persued each day. Adding to an already 8 yr daily prayer on FB each morning. Along with the response being overwhelming, with people from around the world joining in. And we began to have a fellowship of Believers come under one tree in Jesus name.
COVID-19 gave me the courage to start my own HVAC business and dedicate more time to the TikTok ministry. In January 2021 I found a contract job here in Grove and flew back and forth few a few months. God blessed our family for the sacrifice apart when He spoke my wife Kati into the move west and we moved to Oklahoma. Despite initial struggles, including an unexpected need to move again. God continued again and again to provide, until He opened the ways to a 16-acre ranch in Vinita, a place more perfect than we could have imagined. We have found more battles than ever imagined but stand firm in the faith that the Lord provides beyond our imaginations.
One day, while working at Waymaker Grounds,a local Christian hangout, I injured my back again. I was in severe pain and couldn't understand why this was happening. At church the next day, I sought healing but felt confused when I didn’t receive it immediately. However, after church on the way home,my friend Nathan texted me about their service where the childrins church prayed for my healing by name. Tongues were heard and spoke into life over 20 miles away. As I watched the video of the prayer, I felt a warmth wash over me from head to toe and my pain disappeared. Since then, I haven't felt any pain and I never will as God spoke so.
This experience deepened my understanding of obedience to God. I started a live Bible reading on TikTok, and people joined in. Around the world they came each night to hear the Word of God. When money and gifts started to be given,we prayed and God said simply send Bibles to needing hearts. We sent out Bibles to those in need, experiencing the joy of being used by God.
I am amazed at how God has used me, despite my past and my flaws. He continues to bless me and my family, and I give Him all the glory. Thank you for your time, prayers, and for reading my testimony. Praise the Lord for His goodness!
